BYK-329

BYK 329 is a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane additive that strongly reduces surface tension. This allows for improved leveling, defoaming and substrate wetting properties especially in 2-pack epoxy resin systems. BYK 329 delivers these benefits even at low dosages, unlike conventional silicone oils. Laboratory testing is recommended to determine foam stabilization and recoatability in different systems. Flooring applications particularly benefit from the enhanced flow, fewer defects and better appearance provided by BYK 329.
