BYK-3450

BYK 3450 is a silicone surfactant that provides significant reduction in surface tension of aqueous systems. BYK 3450 especially improves substrate wetting on very non-polar substrates used in industrial manufacturing. It does not increase the surface slip. BYK 3450 is suitable for improving the wetting of aqueous systems on substrates used in industrial equipment coatings, adhesives and other industrial solutions. BYK 3450 characterized by its good substrate wetting properties, particularly also with thin-layered application on industrial components. The additive does not increase the surface slip which is important for industrial coatings application. BYK 3450 provides benefits like improved leveling and spreading of aqueous coatings used for industrial machinery and equipment protection resulting in better performance.
