DRY VITAMIN A PALMITATE, TYPE 250 CWS/F is a light yellow, free-flowing particles (bead lets) that contains min. 250 000 IU/g of vitamin A (min. 137.5 mg/g of vitamin A palmitate equivalent to 75 mg/g of retinol) finely dispersed in a cornstarch-coated matrix of gelatin* and sucrose and all-rac-a-tocopherol is added as an antioxidant. DRY VITAMIN A PALMITATE, TYPE 250 CWS/F disperses quickly and completely in cold water, fruit juices, milk and other liquids which makes it suitable for use in dry pharmaceutical preparations that are reconstituted with liquids, especially for effervescent tablets. DRY VITAMIN A PALMITATE, TYPE 250 CWS/F meets all requirements of the relevant monographs of the USP, the FCC and the Ph.
