MICROPERL 050-20-217 is a soda lime glass micropearl that provides enhanced performance properties for advanced material applications. As a type A glass micropearl, MICROPERL 050-20-217 consists of 70-75% SiO2, 12-15% Na20, 7-12% CaO, and other components that give it a refractive index of 1.51 and Mohs hardness of 6 to 6.5. These characteristics make MICROPERL 050-20-217 well-suited as a filler for enhancing strength and durability in advanced materials while maintaining transparency. Its spherical non-porous shape and size distribution of 15-30μm D50 and 30-80μm D90 also contribute to superior mechanical properties and appearance. MICROPERL 050-20-217 is compatible with thermoplastics, thermosets, PVC, polyester, and other resins using a silane coupling agent.
