BYK-1617

BYK-1617 is a VOC-free silicone-containing additive for aqueous systems. It is preferably used in dispersion systems within a PVC range of 60-85. BYK-1617 acts as a cost-effective alternative to mineral oil defoamers. As an emulsion of foam-destroying polysiloxanes, hydrophobic solids and without emulsifying agents, BYK-1617 provides versatile defoaming for aqueous systems. The product is especially suitable for use in the production and application of emulsion products within a specific viscosity range.
