RHEOBYK-T 1010 VF

RHEOBYK T 1010 VF is a VOC-free associative thickener that generates Newtonian flow behavior in aqueous systems. As a solution of polyurethane, it is APEO-free and tin-free. RHEOBYK T 1010 VF increases viscosity in the high-shear range with minimal impact in the low-shear range. This improves processability and storage stability while reducing spattering during application. Higher layer thicknesses can be achieved along with excellent balance between flow properties and leveling. Being liquid, RHEOBYK T 1010 VF is easy to incorporate without needing pH adjustment or temperature control. It has no negative effect on gloss, color or rub-out. RHEOBYK T 1010 VF is preferably used in emulsion paints and industrial coatings based on acrylics, styrene acrylics, vinyl acetate and PU/alkyd emulsions. It is well suited for aqueous wood and furniture coatings based on PU, acrylics and UV-curing systems where it improves application properties and finished product performance.
