AQUAMAT 206

AQUAMAT 206 is a matting wax dispersion based on oxidized HDPE that improves surface properties. It contains a 35% non-volatile dispersion of an oxidized high density polyethylene wax with a melting point of 125°C and particle size less than 30 microns. AQUAMAT 206 delivers a soft-feel effect and enhances scratch resistance when added to aqueous coatings. Its matting properties are ideal for creating smooth yet non-glossy finishes. When incorporated into coating formulations, AQUAMAT 206 helps provide a more durable surface with a natural look and feel well-suited for applications where an attractive yet protective topcoat is required.
