BYK-315 N

BYK 315 N is a polyester-modified polymethylalkylsiloxane additive solution that provides slight reduction in surface tension and increase in surface slip for solvent-borne systems. BYK 315 N displays no blushing or water spotting after water immersion tests, making it well-suited for applications where water resistance is important. The additive causes just a slight lowering of the surface tension. It therefore improves the flow, leveling and defoaming properties. The formation of defects is also prevented and gloss is increased. BYK 315 N can be incorporated during any stage of the production process, including post-addition. It delivers benefits such as enhanced substrate wetting, improved appearance and durable performance in high-quality finishes.
