RHEOBYK-HV 80

RHEOBYK-HV 80 is a VOC-free associative thickener that generates a highly pseudoplastic flow behavior. As an aqueous solution of polyacrylate, RHEOBYK-HV 80 increases viscosity in the medium shear range and is cost-effective for viscosity adjustment. It improves processability, leveling and storage stability. Being liquid, RHEOBYK-HV 80 is easy to handle and incorporate into formulations. It is preferably used in water-based systems based on acrylate, styrene acrylate, and vinyl polymers. RHEOBYK-HV 80 develops best rheological effectiveness at pH 8 or above. It is suitable for letdown products and can retroactively adjust rheology. By enhancing viscosity control and stability, RHEOBYK-HV 80 helps deliver high-quality, durable finishes.
