SILRES 601

Solid silicone resin containing phenyl groups and exhibiting good compatibility with organic polymers. Properties : -Improves the heat resistance of powder coatings made with organic polymers. -Helps to improve the water resistance of powder coatings. -Increases the weather resistance of powder coatings. -Shows good compatibility with organic powder coating resins. Applications : • Heat-Resistant Coatings • Industrial Coatings • Powder Coatings Base material for heat resistant powder coatings with above average gloss retention during heating. For heat resistant and black pigmented powder coatings it is advisable to blend SILRES®603 with orgnic binders for powder coatings and to add heat resistant pigments.
