BYK-019

BYK 019 is a silicone-containing defoamer that prevents foam during grinding of aqueous pigment concentrates. BYK 019 provides long-term and shear stability, making it particularly suitable for resin-free grinds. BYK 019 reduces microfoam when combined with BYK 024 in a 3:2 ratio. BYK 019 ensures a uniform dispersion at high shear forces. BYK 019 effectively prevents foam formation during the production and application processes, allowing for improved quality and higher throughput.
