BYK-399

BYK 399 is a polymeric leveling additive that is silicone-free and suitable for solvent-borne systems. BYK 399 provides excellent flow and leveling properties at recommended dosage levels between 0.05-1%. It offers slight reduction in surface tension and improved substrate wetting for uniform appearance. BYK 399 also offers very good recoatability and slight anti-cratering effect. Being silicone-free, it has broad compatibility and can be incorporated during any stage of production process including post-addition. BYK 399 is an ideal additive for formulations requiring a smooth finish and uniform coverage without compromising on gloss or appearance.
