LAPONITE-SL 25

LAPONITE SL25 is a ready-to-use liquid dispersion of synthetic layered silicate modified with a patented dispersing agent. It is supplied at 25% solids content in water as a translucent and colourless low viscosity liquid dispersion. LAPONITE SL25 forms highly thixotropic gels rapidly when added to formulations containing resins, surfactants or pigments. This provides shear sensitive structure and improves workability. LAPONITE SL25 dispersions can be coated onto surfaces to give smooth, coherent, and electrically conductive films making it suitable for surface applications.
