SCONA 20097

SCONA 20097 is a polypropylene homopolymer with a high degree of maleic acid anhydride grafting. It has excellent wetting properties as a result of its very low viscosity (hyperfluid). SCONA 20097 increases the polarity of polypropylene, which increases the compatibility with highly polar polymers. This additive can be used as a coupling agent for short and long glass fiber-reinforced polyolefins and improves their physical, mechanical, and thermal properties for advanced material applications. SCONA 20097 also improves the properties of natural fiber-reinforced and wood fiber-reinforced composites used in advanced industries. It provides exceptional mechanical properties, a good price-performance ratio, a very weak odor, low VOC content and share of emissions.
