RHEOBYK TVS-VF

RHEOBYK TVS-VF is a VOC-free associative thickener that generates a highly pseudoplastic flow behavior in aqueous systems. As a liquid additive, RHEOBYK TVS-VF is easy to incorporate and handle. It considerably increases the viscosity in the low shear range without needing to adjust pH or control temperature during addition. This improves the sagging tendency and storage stability of formulations. When combined with other rheology additives effective in high shear, it enables optimum processability. RHEOBYK TVS-VF is preferably used between 0.3-2% in emulsion formulations based on acrylate, styrene acrylate, PVA and VAE binders. At these levels, it enhances the rheological properties to improve coverage, minimize runs and drips for superior quality and uniform appearance in coatings applications.
