DISPERBYK-182

DISPERBYK 182 is a high molecular weight block copolymer wetting and dispersing additive suitable for use in aqueous and solvent-borne coating systems. DISPERBYK 182 effectively deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization, resulting in smaller pigment particle sizes. This leads to higher gloss, optimized color strength, increased transparency and hiding power for coatings. The improved flow properties allow for higher pigment loading capacities. DISPERBYK 182 is specifically recommended for producing economical solvent-borne pigment concentrates, especially when used alone or in combination with DISPERBYK 108. When used in advanced material formulations, DISPERBYK 182 enables enhanced optical and mechanical properties by facilitating uniform pigment wetting and dispersion at nano scales.
