DURASYN 156

DURASYN 156 is a 6cst (mm2/s) fully synthesized distilled and hydrogenated hydrocarbon base fluid produced from C12-C14 linear alphaolefin feed stocks. Its engineered physical and performance properties are designed to extend the service life and enhance the performance of fully formulated products operating under continuous low, high or wide temperature range conditions. DURASYN 156 offers inherent thermal stability and oxidation resistance allowing for extended replacement cycles. Its engineered low volatility minimizes top-off needs and contamination. High shear stability maintains viscosity over long service intervals. Broad viscometrics suit varied operating temperatures. DURASYN 156 is compatibility is similar to PAO and mineral oils, suitable for reciprocating engines, turbines, hydraulics and industrial applications requiring thermally stable, shear stable and oxidation resistant base fluids. DURASYN 156 is also considered to be non-toxic and non-irritating and biodegradable.
