OPTIBENT 1056 is a powdered rheology additive based on a modified and activated phyllosilicate. As a thixotrope, OPTIBENT 1056 improves the anti-sagging properties and application properties of thin layer formulations, simultaneously reducing the need for conventional thickening systems. OPTIBENT 1056 is particularly suitable for mineral-based thin layer formulations used in industrial processes. It provides benefits such as improved processing properties and anti-sagging characteristics of thin coating mixtures applied in industrial equipment and machinery. Recommended at levels between 0.1-0.3%, OPTIBENT 1056 enhances the rheological behavior of formulations without negatively impacting other properties, ensuring uniform, sag-free application of thin coatings in industrial solutions.
