RHEOBYK-D 410

RHEOBYK D 410 is a liquid rheology additive that generates highly thixotropic flow behavior after being stirred into medium-polarity solvent-borne and solvent-free systems. RHEOBYK D 410 contains 52% active substance and has a density of 1.16 g/ml. It prevents sedimentation and increases anti-sagging properties without impairing leveling. RHEOBYK D 410 creates a three-dimensional network structure in coatings that prevents settling and sagging for up to 2% loading, depending on polarity and solids content. The additive can be added during production or afterwards as a post-additive. It builds rheological effectiveness over 2-4 hours depending on polarity. RHEOBYK D 410 is recommended for medium-polarity systems in applications requiring anti-sagging and leveling properties.
