DISPERBYK-142

DISPERBYK-142 is a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing additive that is particularly suitable for stabilizing pigments. DISPERBYK-142 deflocculates pigments by steric stabilization, resulting in small particle sizes of the deflocculated pigments. This allows for high levels of gloss to be achieved and improved color strength. In addition, DISPERBYK-142 increases transparency with transparent pigments and hiding power with opaque pigments. Viscosity is reduced, improving leveling properties and allowing for higher pigment loading. DISPERBYK-142 is highly compatible with standard binders and recommended for use with epoxy resins.
