BYK-3450

BYK 3450 is a silicone surfactant that provides significant reduction in surface tension of aqueous systems. BYK 3450 especially improves substrate wetting on very non-polar substrates used in advanced materials. It does not increase the surface slip. BYK 3450 is characterized by its good substrate wetting properties, particularly also with thin-layered application on advanced material substrates. The additive BYK 3450 does not impair the recoatability and leveling of coatings used in advanced material manufacturing. BYK 3450 provides benefits like improved wettability, spreading and adhesion of aqueous coatings and inks on non-polar advanced material substrates leading to better performance and quality.
