BYK-A 525
BYK A 525 is a defoamer/air release agent for potting compounds, sealants and adhesives used in industrial applications. BYK A 525 contains silicone and is a solution of a polyether-modified methylalykl polysiloxane copolymer. It prevents foam and bubble formation during manufacturing and application of industrial compounds. BYK A 525 demonstrates excellent air release characteristics in mineral-filled industrial systems. It additionally improves wetting of quartz and glass fibers used in industrial solutions, providing a more uniform product. BYK A 525 is especially recommended for industrial systems on polyurethane and epoxy resin basis. As a defoamer, BYK A 525 acts as a defoamer/air release agent during production and application of industrial compounds. It also reduces surface tension, improves leveling and wetting and prevents Bénard cell formation - providing a more consistent industrial product.
