DISPERBYK-192

DISPERBYK-192 is a VOC-free wetting and dispersing additive for aqueous systems. It deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization resulting in small particle sizes, improved color strength and gloss. Higher pigment loading is possible due to reduced viscosity and prevention of floating even in complex pigment combinations. DISPERBYK-192 is particularly suitable for producing stable effect pigment dispersions and recommended for use in applications where high transparency, hiding power and flow is required. It can be added to grinding resins or dispersions and only pigments should be added once it is uniformly distributed. Optimal levels are determined through testing but typical recommendations are 2-10% for inorganic pigments and 10-30% for organic pigments based on pigment amount.
